SmartView allows you to view Solid Edge parts, assemblies, drafting documents, and Parasolid X_T files, even if you do not have Solid Edge loaded. This stand-alone viewer can also be run with an ActiveX document container such as Internet Explorer.
The viewer even allows you to change the display of the part--you can shade the part, rotate it, and zoom in or out. Even though you can change the part's display, you cannot make physical changes to the part without opening it in Solid Edge.
It allows you to share Autodesk Inventor data with non-Autodesk Inventor users.
It allows you to view Solid Edge assembly, part, sheet metal and draft files.
